Welcome to Apostolic Worship Center!
Hello and welcome to our site! We're glad you stopped by. We are a growing and exciting Church in the Northern San Joaquin Valley. AWC is filled with wonderful people from all walks of life and a variety of backgrounds. We are people just like you! We are convinced that we need wisdom and love beyond our own limited capacities. During our worship services both young and old learn principles for successful living. Our teachings are practical teachings you can apply to real life issues not only on Sundays, but every other day of the week. Families who come to church together are strengthened in their commitment to God as well as to each other. We also believe that King Solomon was right when he wrote "Train up a child in the way that he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Prov. 22:6). At AWC we're committed to having age appropriate classes for children of all ages. What better foundation can you offer your child for a happy life? Please take a moment to check out all of our features, explore the ministries, and get to know our team. While we don't claim to be perfect, we pray you will find us to be friendly and encouraging.Sincerely,
Senior Pastor Ezequiel D. Barron

In 1870, the Central Pacific Railroad reached its track construction to Stanislaus County's northern exit. There they established a railroad station with the Spanish name of salida, which in English means exit. Although Salida is named after the Spanish word meaning Exit, the name is customarily pronounced according to English phonetics, as Sah-LIE-Duh
Salida is located 70 miles east of the Bay Area, and 66 miles west of Yosemite National Park
Salida is surrounded by rich Farm land and beautiful Orchards, the cultivation of Almonds has always been significant in Salida
Temperatures in Salida range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, to 50 degrees Fahrenheit at night.
Onshore breezes (locally known as "The Delta Breeze") moderate high temperatures, with cool air coming in around 8 or 9 PM on summer nights
